The true purpose of education is to make minds, not careers.

The aim of education is to manifest in our lives the perfection, which is the very nature of our inner self. This perfection is the realization of the infinite power which resides in everything and every-where-existence, consciousness and bliss (satchidananda). After understanding the essential nature of this perfection, we should identify it with our inner self.

Education should also help in the development of originality. It should unfold all the hidden powers in man. A child should learn to accept pleasure and pain, misery and happiness as equal factors in the formation of character. Man-making education is inherent in character development as well as vocational development. What India needs today is character and strengthening of the will. This can be achieved through man-making education.

Our school SreevatsaViswanathan Vivekananda Vidyalaya Senior Secondary school, one of the unit of Vivekananda Educational Society is started in the year 1999 and nurturing 2100 students now. The school was started in the huts and it has got pucca building with all infra structures facilities like well ventilated and spacious class rooms , well equipped  Maths , Physics, Chemistry , Biology and Computer Science labs .Library with ……  books , Play ground , play area for kinder garden children and smart board,  etc…….
